Rheaume Lake- Fly Far North

Rheaume is our most northerly oupost at 105 miles northwest. Rheaume and East Rheaume provide 3300 acres of shallow waterway. Another 4300 acres exists in the 4 portage lakes to provide the adventurous fisherman with more great walleye/northern fishing. One can fish for walleye and northern right beside the cabin or fifteen miles down the lake. The large, 8 person, frame cabin offers 2 bedrooms and a bunkroom with woodstove and a kitchen and sitting area combination. Hot/cold sink and shower, as in all the cabins, is present in this one as well. A deck attached to the front of the cabin makes for great relaxation with the beautiful views to the lake. The forest, behind the cabin, is a magical place. The trees allow the sunlight to stream down onto the bright green mosses that make up the forest floor, in shadowy streaks. You might note this as you are heading to the out building situated there!
