Yes Dolphin Lake is called the
"Walleye Factory" by many and the name speaks for itself. Guests have found that it is teeming with walleye. The lake is also home to Northern. At 71 miles north of Red Lake, the two bedroom cabin rests on the east side of a north arm of the lake. It contains a large common area for the kitchen and sitting area. Both are well spaced to allow for comfortable socializing while cooking. The 2 bedrooms sleep six comfortably. Hot and cold running water is plumbed to kitchen sink and bathing facilities. Like all of our cabins, a separate room houses the shower and a sink. Dolphin is a shallow 1500 acre lake with several bays with depths of 5 - 15 feet. It is fed by several small creeks and the outlet flows westward through a series of rapids into Dolphin Creek. If lake trout is what you are seeking, portage into McInnes Lake where a boat awaits for more exploring opportunities. A small unnamed lake to the south has a boat on it.
Our Story: by JD Asbell, 2004

My father, Dick Asbell, came up with Bill DeBoer in the 1960's and and he started bringing his sons in the 70's and 80's. Now I am bringing a third generation and my boys are talking about bringing their children sone day....(Long away, I hope). JD
